Summary 

This position functions as a sign installer and production team member responsible for interior and exterior sign installation, site surveys, permitting, and sign production.  The position is responsible for preparing materials, tools, equipment and coordinating with customer and site contacts as needed.  A very high level of quality is expected along with meeting and exceeding installation and production standards.  This role includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Install interior ADA signage accurately by interpreting sign schedules, architectural blueprints, and project plans.

· Install exterior signage, including illuminated and non-illuminated signs, banners, billboard wraps, and vinyl graphics.

· Prepare for installation by verifying job requirements and ensuring all necessary signs, materials, hardware, tools, and equipment are ready and loaded for the job site.

· Conduct site surveys, obtain field measurements, document site conditions, and assist with required permitting for sign installations.

· Perform sign production, including fabricating and assembling signs, applying vinyl graphics, and preparing sign and materials for installation.

· Ability to use ladders, lifts and bucket truck on installs.

· Assist sales team efforts through supportive workflow management.

· Maintain an organized and clean workstation.

· Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment.

· Follow department operational policies and procedures.

· Work in a team environment with other employees to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.

· Follow safety and emergency procedures.

· Perform all other duties assigned and those that may be necessary to achieve company and departmental goals.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.  Sign experience a plus, but not necessary.  On-the-job training provided.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply basic math concepts (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 

Physical and Working Conditions

The job is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to large equipment, noise, and materials related to the production process. The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. 

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

· Ability to occasionally bend, stoop or kneel.

· Ability to use hands and arms to type, reach, handle or feel.

· Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
