DESCRIPTION:
As a Team Leader, Vendor Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to operational excellence while enabling our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You will guide the vendor contracted responsible for our operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Working in a GMP environment, you'll oversee daily operations activities and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and meet customer demands.
You will support a culture of operational excellence by implementing lean manufacturing principles and maintaining compliance with quality standards. Through effective leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure on-time delivery while maintaining exceptional product quality. Your role will be instrumental in developing talent, improving processes, and contributing to our company's growth and success in serving science.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of operations experience with leadership role experience
• Preferred Fields of Study: science, engineering, or related field
• Experience working with Suppliers, 3PL, overseeing operations and KPI review
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and quality management systems
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with data-driven decision making
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
• Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, and efficiency metrics
• Experience conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
