Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize several tasks and have good time management skills.  The Inside Sales Representative must demonstrate the ability to quickly build rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound calls, emails, and phone calls
• Follow-up on any leads
• Be willing to learn multiple pricing structures for quoting
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate person for further development and closure
• Understanding customer’s needs and identifying sales opportunities
• Ability to upsell other services provided by the company that will be of convenience to the customer
• Maintain database of current and potential customers
• Research and stay informed about our competitors within the industry
• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure accurate work and information to be relayed
• Understand the needs and expectations of the customers and provide relevant solutions
• Establish and maintain rapport with customers
• Other duties assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous Inside Sales or Customer Service experience
• Industry knowledge is a plus
• Proficient with ERP software or similar database
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Superb organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service and the ability to navigate through problems to come to a reasonable solution
• Strong listening and sales skills
• Strong attention to detail

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The following environment/atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. 

• Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials due to shop environment
• Office environment-predominately sedentary
• Occasional standing, walking, and lifting; at least 20 lbs.
