DIS-TRAN Steel Internal Transfer Portal - Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a current employee who is ready to lead the purchasing function and help strengthen the way DIS-TRAN Steel manages purchasing processes, suppliers, commercial commitments, financial controls, and service to internal customers. Reporting to the EVP, the Purchasing Manager will lead purchasing team members and may have up to five direct reports.

This is a strong opportunity for an employee who understands how our operations work, can lead people and processes, and is comfortable making decisions that affect cost, delivery, quality, supplier performance, and material availability. Experience gained in purchasing, supply chain, planning, inventory, receiving, operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, accounting, project coordination, or process improvement may transfer well to this role.
