Reporting to the Director of Marketing, North America, this role is integral to the ongoing development and management of digital marketing initiatives that support the North American retirement business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive awareness, consideration, and acquisition by activating strategic digital channels—including email, mobile, websites, and social platforms—to deliver timely, personalized experiences.
  • Manage the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives, bringing together partners across creative, compliance, editorial, digital, translation, product, and communications to deliver cohesive, high-impact programs aligned with business priorities.
  • Analyze customer insights and feedback to uncover key pain points, identify root causes, and recommend marketing and communication solutions that reduce friction across the customer journey.
  • Partner across cross-functional teams to bring new digital capabilities to market, ensuring launches enhance the end-to-end member experience and align with broader business and customer experience objectives.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and tactics that equip sales teams with clear, compelling messaging on product features, value propositions, and campaign priorities, supporting client retention and new business opportunities.

Operational Efficiency

  • Advance marketing modernization and transformation efforts by championing processes and initiatives that unlock efficiencies across the organization with a digital-first mindset.
  • Seek and implement innovative and automated processes to enable marketing to focus on high-value functions while identifying and showcasing automation savings to the organization.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content and marketing materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement through testing, analysis, reviewing customer feedback and optimization of marketing tactics.

Digital activation and governance

  • Create, manage and maintain marketing content for collateral, internal platforms (i.e. SharePoint, Seismic, Workfront) and external digital channels (i.e. websites and social media)
  • Lead the formulation of timely performance reports with relevant analysis based on data from various sources, including digital marketing campaigns and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Leverage industry-leading best practices, AI, marketing technology (MarTech), marketing automation, and workflow management tools to create campaigns and track outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing or business experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and ever-changing deadlines.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaign management and execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills and self-motivated/ambitious.
  • Detail-oriented with a critical eye for quality.
  • Results-oriented and execution-focused within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to blend confidence with tact, liaising directly with colleagues throughout the organization to get what’s needed to get the job done.
  • Adaptive to change, both on a micro scale in terms of conflicting project requests and priorities, as well as larger-scale changes in an ever-shifting industry landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and group retirement market is a plus.
  • Proficiency in digital channels and platforms, comfortable with marketing automation tools, able to leverage digital tools and data to drive/optimize compelling marketing campaigns
  • Comfortable in both challenging technical and interpersonal environments
  • Knowledge of progressive technology platforms such as Adobe Journey Optimizer, Workfront, Seismic, and the Microsoft suite is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to work with teams from various provinces outside Québec and from countries outside Canada.

When you join our team:

  • As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
  • We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
  • We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.
