Utility Labor

This position is responsible for maintaining product flow, supplying materials and equipment to production areas, and supporting operations by filling in for various line positions as needed. Team members must ensure work areas remain adequately stocked and production processes continue efficiently while meeting safety, quality, and production standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a continuous flow of product throughout the production area.
• Ensure an adequate supply of materials, ingredients, packaging, and other necessary supplies for the operation.
• Transport and replenish supplies to workstations as needed.
• Fill in for various production positions to support operational needs and maintain production efficiency.
• Assist with product handling, movement, and staging activities.
• Monitor work areas to identify and communicate supply or production concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Follow all food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and workplace safety procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and management instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and supplies throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, arms, and upper body.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and production environments.

• Pallet jacks and material handling equipment (as authorized)
• Personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Production tools and supplies as required
