Yoga Facilitator – Adolescents

75 minutes per group, including 15 minutes for group notes

About the Role

Adolescent Wellness Academy is seeking a Yoga Facilitator to lead supportive, accessible groups for teens ages 13–17 in our PHP and IOP programs. You’ll help adolescents explore movement, breathing, and mindfulness to build body awareness, manage stress, and support emotional regulation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging yoga groups tailored to adolescents.
• Incorporate gentle movement, breathing, and grounding exercises.
• Offer modifications for different abilities and comfort levels.
• Create a welcoming environment that respects choice and personal boundaries.
• Coordinate with the clinical team around participant needs.
• Complete timely group notes within the allotted documentation time.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Yoga instructor certification.
• Experience leading yoga groups and adapting instruction to individual needs.
• Warm, clear communication and comfort working with adolescents.
• Consistent availability for weekly or every-other-week groups in Boca Raton.

Preferred

• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health or wellness settings.
• Training in trauma-informed yoga or mindfulness.
• Comfort collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• A patient, flexible approach aligned with kindness and inclusion.
