Be the driving force behind our client growth strategy

At Reed, we're passionate about helping organisations solve their talent challenges while building long-term partnerships that deliver real value. We're looking for a commercially minded Client Engagement Partner to play a pivotal role in ensuring our newly acquired clients reach their full potential and experience the very best of Reed.

This is a unique opportunity to sit at the heart of our growth strategy, taking ownership of key client relationships following acquisition and driving retention, expansion, and engagement across the wider Reed Group.

About the Role

As a Client Engagement Partner, you will act as the bridge between our Business Development teams and operational recruitment teams, ensuring a seamless transition for new clients and laying the foundations for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact in Reed's "land and expand" journey for newly won clients.
  • Support the successful handover of new business opportunities from sales to operational teams.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to establish Reed as the client's preferred recruitment partner.
  • Create and maintain detailed organisational charts, identifying hiring managers, decision-makers, and reporting structures.
  • Map and engage senior stakeholders across client organisations, ensuring contact information is accurately maintained in HubSpot and X3.
  • Understand clients' recruitment, HR, procurement, and onboarding processes to maximise service delivery.
  • Proactively identify recruitment opportunities by monitoring client activity and uncovering live vacancies.
  • Ensure opportunities are shared with the appropriate Reed specialists and followed through to conversion.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional Reed services, including screening solutions, C+, MSP, RPO, and other value-added offerings.
  • Coordinate and attend service reviews alongside relevant Reed stakeholders.
  • Gather client feedback, testimonials, and case studies to support future business development.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives by promoting client engagement through webinars, events, and hospitality opportunities.
  • Build awareness of future contract renewals, re-tenders, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of client engagement activity through Power BI and internal systems.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is naturally relationship-focused, commercially driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences.

You'll likely have:

  • Experience in recruitment, account management, client success, business development, or a related commercial role.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent networking, influencing, and communication abilities.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and translate them into revenue growth.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Why Reed?

Joining Reed means becoming part of the UK's largest family-owned recruitment business, where people and relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

You'll benefit from:

  • Extensive learning and development opportunities
  • Career progression across the Reed Group
  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • Reed Reward Hub with discounts and wellbeing benefits
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies
  • Pension scheme
  • Paid volunteering opportunities
  • Access to industry-leading technology and support networks
