Description
Join St John of God Midland Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse, Critical Care (ICU/CCU). This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated nurses to be part of a growing team delivering exceptional patient care in a modern, purpose-built healthcare environment.
As a valued member of our Critical Care team, you will play a key role in providing safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care to individuals with complex and acute health needs. Working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to maintaining excellence in clinical practice while supporting positive patient outcomes and experiences.
About the Midland Private Hospital
- A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus.
- A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region
- The hospital features:
- 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit.
- 33-bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit
- Eight operating theatres.
- A cardiac/vascular catheter laboratory
The Position
Successful applicants will hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and have recent clinical experience in critical care or an acute care environment. You will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and possess well developed communication, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
A strong understanding of relevant legislation, professional standards and codes of practice is essential along with a clear commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. You will bring a patient focused, quality driven approach to care and consistently deliver high standards of clinical practice.

We can offer you
- Salary: $82,945 to $106,630 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
- Casual Rate: $52.40 to $67.24 per hour plus 12% superannuation
- Permanent part time and casual positions
- 12-hour shifts
