The Opportunity
The Senior Associate, Client Solutions plays a key role in advancing and driving new client acquisitions for ImpactAssets’ impact donor-advised fund, investment advisory, and broader impact investing platform. This position is an essential role that supports our vision of broadening our client base among mission-aligned families, foundations, corporations, advisors, and other high-impact capital holders seeking to align capital with purpose. In this role, you will help identify, qualify, engage, and advance high-value prospects into long-term relationships, including independently closing select opportunities where appropriate. As the first point of contact for inbound prospects, you will triage and route opportunities so nothing falls through the cracks and every relationship gets off to a strong start. Success in this role requires investment fluency, strong follow-through, a disciplined approach to pipeline management, and the ability to collaborate across internal teams to deliver integrated, client-centered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and support client acquisition for the impact investment advisory, donor-advised fund, and broader ImpactAssets platform, focusing on family offices, foundations, corporate clients and ultra-high net worth individuals aligned with impact investing.
- Understand prospective clients’ philanthropic, investment, governance, and long-term impact objectives, and help develop proposals that align client goals with solutions across ImpactAssets and IA Capital.
- Qualify inbound and emerging opportunities, assess alignment with ImpactAssets’ platform, and guide appropriate prospects through next steps in partnership with senior relationship leads.
- Develop prospect-ready materials, including proposals, strategic memos, and client presentations, that support client decision-making across donor-advised fund, investment advisory, and broader platform pathways.
- Collaborate with internal teams across ImpactAssets and IA Capital on business development hand-offs, onboarding, and smooth client transitions post-close.
- Own and manage a pipeline of emerging prospects across foundations, RIAs, family offices, and other target segments, ensuring timely follow-up, clear next steps, and appropriate handoffs to senior relationship leads.
- Act as the accountable team member for specific client segments and/or platform offerings over time, helping improve pipeline quality, prospect progression, follow-up consistency, and conversion support based on performance data.
- Help advance opportunities through qualification, proposal development, internal coordination, and select independent closing responsibilities where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of prospect interactions, referral relationships, and pipeline activity to support team-level reporting, leadership visibility, and business planning.
- Provide regular pipeline and market updates to the team, including emerging client activity, referral trends, competitive intelligence, and field insights to inform growth planning and team goals.
- Qualify and manage RFP responses, while maintaining a reusable library of strong RFP content to improve turnaround speed, quality, and consistency.
- Cultivate strategic referral relationships with wealth advisors, philanthropic advisors, and ecosystem partners to expand distribution across donor-advised fund and investment advisory offerings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing on events, campaigns, and initiatives that expand the firm's visibility with target segments.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams across the client lifecycle to ensure a seamless, coordinated experience for prospects and clients throughout the acquisition and onboarding lifecycle.
- Lead or support project-based work on an as needed basis.
