Tasty food, too.
Penzeys Spices has a full-time Lead position available for our store in San Diego.
If you already know about Penzeys, Hooray! If not, truth be told, we see business a little bit differently than most. Yes, stores are about selling things. At Penzeys we believe one of those things is ideas. Ideas for equity and equality, ideas for justice, ideas for a better world.
From our experience, engaging Cooks within a community moves positive change further, faster, than pretty much anything else.
Maybe your experience is in retail. Maybe your experience is in community activism. Maybe it's somewhere else. But if you're thinking that maybe the right place for you is at the forefront of transforming business into a positive force for good, it would make us happy if you applied for this job.
Important things...
Humanity, Required. Retail Experience, not so much.
Full Time Benefits include: Health Insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off, Flexible Hours, Outstanding Customers, Employee Discount and more.
Starting Wage: $19.85/hr
At the very heart of cooking is the bedrock belief that when we give of ourselves and take time to care for others the world becomes a better place. This is the job. If this sounds like what you're looking for please complete an application.
