Trusted by data centers, utilities, manufacturers, healthcare systems and government organizations, ERock engineers for rapid deployment, long-duration reliability, low local emissions, and scalable performance to meet the evolving energy demands of today and tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own assigned Health & Safety programs and workstreams from development through implementation, including establishing requirements, coordinating stakeholders and vendors, maintaining documentation, tracking actions, reporting status, and escalating barriers to the Director, Health & Safety.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Health & Safety programs for field-based operations, including field service technicians, fleet maintenance activities, commissioning, construction support, and operating power generation sites.
  • Serve as the operational safety lead for power generation sites, supporting safe commissioning, startup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification of natural gas generation equipment.
  • Participate in new-site, commissioning, and operational-readiness reviews to ensure Health & Safety requirements are identified and addressed before startup and during changes to equipment, processes, or operations.
  • Conduct routine site inspections, jobsite audits, and field observations; identify hazards, assign corrective actions, verify completion, and drive timely closure.
  • Lead incident and near-miss reporting, investigation, causal analysis, corrective-action management, and communication of lessons learned across sites and field operations.
  • Ensure conformance with applicable OSHA General Industry and Construction requirements, DOT safety requirements, state and local occupational safety requirements, recognized industry standards, and customer-site requirements. Support environmental compliance activities in coordination with designated environmental resources.
  • Implement and manage core safety programs, including hazardous energy control and Lockout/Tagout, electrical safety and NFPA 70E, permit-required confined space, hot work, fall protection, PPE, hazard communication, line breaking, lifting and rigging, mobile equipment safety, excavation where applicable, and emergency response.
  • Develop, review, and maintain safe work practices, energy-control procedures, permits, JHAs/JSAs, risk assessments, checklists, and other field work-control documents.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System, including policies, procedures, standards, forms, records, and document-control requirements.
  • Develop and deliver role-based safety training, toolbox talks, onboarding, and refresher training for technicians, site personnel, supervisors, and contractors; verify training effectiveness and completion.
  • Manage contractor safety requirements, including prequalification, onboarding, orientation, documentation review, field oversight, incident escalation, corrective actions, and coordination with Operations, Project teams, Procurement, and contractor leadership.
  • Support and continuously improve fleet and driver safety programs, including driver expectations, vehicle-related incident review, mobile equipment controls, corrective actions, training, and coordination with Fleet and Operations.
  • Support site emergency preparedness and response programs, including emergency action planning, drills, employee accountability, first-aid/AED readiness, site response capabilities, and coordination with site leadership and emergency-response resources.
  • Coordinate occupational injury and illness response, including medical-provider relationships, post-incident care, case follow-up, return-to-work coordination, workers’ compensation support, and appropriate internal escalation in partnership with Human Resources and Risk Management.
  • Manage assigned Health & Safety vendors, systems, and service providers, including implementation, utilization, performance, issue resolution, and coordination with Procurement and internal stakeholders.
  • Track, analyze, and report leading and lagging indicators, including TRIR, DART, near misses, hazard reports, audit findings, training completion, and corrective-action closure; develop improvement plans based on trends.
  • Partner with Operations, Field Service, Engineering, Project Management, Human Resources, Procurement, Fleet, and other functions to integrate safety into planning, design, procurement, mobilization, and execution of work.
  • Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, internal reviews, and related corrective-action responses.
  • Champion a strong, learning-focused safety culture by coaching leaders and employees, reinforcing stop-work authority, and encouraging active hazard and near-miss reporting.
  • Travel to field and site locations as needed to support operations, including periodic extended or off-hours support during commissioning, significant incidents, emergencies, or critical work.
  • Perform other Health & Safety responsibilities consistent with the needs of the business and the scope of the position.
