As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Site Response in Pharr, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Operate and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
