In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Wealth Management Technology (WMT) group is the technology partner for the GWIM business which provides comprehensive wealth management to affluent and high-net-worth clients and also provides retirement and benefit plan services, philanthropic solutions and asset management to individuals and institutions. WMT professionals work closely with their business partners and provide technology expertise to service the needs of financial advisors. They deliver integrated solutions and support the technology for the larger Wealth Management platforms catering to Advisory, Private Banking and Retirement businesses. 

With in WMT, we support a function Client Financials that caters to handling the balances, holdings and activity data in a variety of ways and to large group of data consumers such as advisors, aggregators, clients, regulators etc. This is a critical function that is expected to serve clients 24*7 and therefore needs a resilient technology solution. The candidate is expected to join this function and contribute to the design and development of these applications. 

Job Description*

The Global Technology division manages the critical systems and platforms that form the backbone of the company's retail, commercial and institutional businesses, as well as key support functions globally. We develop and deploy leading-edge technologies in areas such as mobile and online banking, payments processing, technology infrastructure, cyber-security, risk and capital management and enterprise data management. Global Technology teams remain on the cutting edge of innovative learning through our focus on immersive technology. We were the first financial institution to offer a comprehensive set of tools leveraging technology like virtual reality, artificial intelligence and practice simulations within our financial centers. As a member of our team, you will use leading technology solutions and integrated platforms to ensure that our customers and clients can leverage the services and bank with us anytime, anywhere. Candidate will work as part of a development team and will be responsible for developing new features, as well as maintaining existing features across the tech stack. The developer will collaborate and communicate with the global team members and also work with Support teams to ensure stability of the application.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will ensure that software is developed to meet the functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications, business process re-engineering
• Code solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the internal banking applications and systems with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces
• Participates and contributes to the delivery/release (CI/CD) events. e.g., branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes
• Document the models and findings, support data collation and processing that is helpful in development and delivery.
• Perform proof of concept to implement new ideas or mitigate risk.
• Ensure execution and delivery meet technology’s expectations in terms of functionality, quality, performance, reliability, and timelines.
• Work with global development teams and stakeholders across WMT.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve incidents and issues.

Requirements:

• Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
• Certifications If Any: 
• Experience Range: 10+ Years

Foundational skills*

• C# or Core Java or Microsoft .Net
• JavaScript programming, ReactJS framework or HTML5, Angular for UI development
• Python programming
• Restful web services, application frameworks like Spring Core
• Build tools like ant, maven or gradle
• Data exchange formats such as XML, JSON
• Build automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible and source control systems like GIT, Perforce
• Agile methodologies

Desired skills*

• Hands-on experience in server-side development, UI development and Scripting.
• Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in order to meet goals without management oversight.
• Good understanding of database, performance tuning and debugging skills.
• Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, team player, good communications
• Domain knowledge in Investment Banking/ Regulatory Reporting.
• Have the willingness and aptitude to work in global distributed teams
• Have attention to detail and strong work ethics
