Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift at our Oakley Ct site in Richmond, VA.

The pay rate for this position is $21.63 per hour.

## What you’ll do:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for inventory process control and resolution as needed to accomplish Eaton’s overall objectives of providing on-time delivery of quality products. Support and initiate actions with management to ensure that personnel comply to the company’s policies and performance/productivity levels.

In this function you will:

• Inspect materials and generate pick lists from production schedules to support accurate order fulfillment and production readiness.
• Audit material movement and stow activity, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and SAP.
• Locate lost or misplaced material using SAP transaction history and correct bin allocations.
• Manage transfer requests with Material Handlers and communicate transfers to receiving buildings.
• Partner with team leads, inventory teams, and production lines to resolve material issues.
• Maintain MRP inventory records and improve inventory procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Richmond, VA facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

• At least 2 years of experience in inventory control.

• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
