As a Senior Financial Accountant at ICON, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support strategic financial planning.

What You Will Do:

You will take ownership of finance and financial management deliverables, applying your expertise to complex challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinating and executing month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, and participating in internal and external audits.
• Developing and maintaining financial models and reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for various business initiatives and projects.
• Mentoring and supervising junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in finance and financial management, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in financial accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and provide clear financial insights.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
