Fanling North New Development Area, Remaining Phase:

Site Formation and Infrastructure Works

AtkinsRéalis Asia Limited invites applications for the following Resident Site Staff positions under the project for Fanling North New Development Area, Remaining Phase: Site Formation and Infrastructure Works (Contract Nos. ND/2024/07 and ND/2024/08). The works comprise site formation of lands and ground investigation within Fanling North New Development Area (FLN NDA), construction of at-grade roads connecting FLN NDA to Fanling Highway and associated junction/road improvements, construction of Fanling Bypass Western Section, construction of noise barriers and low noise road surfacing, and ancillary works including vehicular bridges, footbridges, footpaths, cycle tracks, lighting, traffic aids, sewage pumping stations, drainage, stormwater storage tank, sewerage, water mains, landscaping works, slope works and electrical and mechanical works. The first contract, Contract No. ND/2024/07, and the second contract, Contract No. ND/2024/08, commenced in August 2024 and December 2025 respectively.

Your role

• Provision of professional assistance to RSS at professional ranks or above in the delivery of their duties of the representative or delegate of the Project Manager, Supervisor, Engineer, Architect, Surveyor, and/or Supervising Officer as appropriate under works contracts as assigned by the Consultants*/Consultant*
• Provision of professional assistance to RSS at professional ranks or above in the delivery of all their other assigned duties related to works contracts and the project
• Collaboration with other RSS ranks for delivery of works contracts and the project in safe, efficient and cost effective manner with good quality
• Other duties related to this consultancy, works contracts or the project as may be assigned by the head of the RSS team, their supervisors, RSS at professional ranks or above or the Consultants*/Consultant* from time to time

About you

Assistant Resident Engineer (E&M)                             (Ref No.: FLN_ARE(E&M))

Candidates should have:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, with formal training pre-approved by appropriate professional institute / institute and 2 years’ of relevant post qualification experience; or

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, with at least 4 years’ post-academic qualification experience in professional field, and 4 years’ of relevant experience.

Remark

• Applicants may also consider to refer the other requirement of the above opening(s) stipulated in Appendix 7.4 of "Management Handbook for Direct Employment of ResidentSite Staff by Consultants for Public Works Projects" from the webpage of Development Bureau.
• The candidates should have minimum academic/ professional qualification requirements of the above posts.
• For RWSI and RWSII, a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above shall be attained unless otherwise recommended by the Consultant and accepted by the managing department for special cases with justifications recommended by the Consultant.
• Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing Government’s conditions and terms applicable for Resident Site Staff. The incumbents will be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas if necessary.
