In the role of a Packaged Software as a Service Application Architect, a typical day involves designing scalable and secure cloud-based solutions that align with the broader enterprise architecture. This includes ensuring cost efficiency while applying key principles such as multi-tenancy and modularity. The role requires defining boundaries for customization and providing guidance on platform usage to maintain optimal performance and long-term maintainability. Collaboration with various stakeholders to integrate these solutions seamlessly into the organizational ecosystem is a central part of daily activities, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of SaaS solutions ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Quality Management.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS architecture principles including multi-tenancy and modular design.
- Experience in defining and enforcing customization limits within SaaS platforms.
- Ability to design solutions that balance security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and platform services relevant to SaaS deployments.
