Job Description:

The Role: 

Entegris is currently seeking a Maintenance Parts Specialist to manage and control the inventory of spare parts, equipment, and supplies. This position will be at our Hillsboro, OR, facility.  In this role, you will be responsible for minimizing equipment downtime by ensuring Maintenance Technicians have the right parts when needed.  

 

What You’ll Do: 

Inventory Management: 

• Oversee the parts area of > 1700 parts to include organizing, labeling, and updating parts in the inventory system. 

• Perform routine cycle counts. 

• Track inventory levels. 

• Prevent parts shortages. 

• Adjust min/max parts levels. 

 

Sourcing and Procurement: 

• Identify parts, create purchase order requisitions, and procure items from external vendors. 

• Communicate with vendors to inquire about parts and lead times. 

 

Shipping and Receiving: 

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against original purchase orders. 

• Send parts out for service or recoating. 

 

Data Entry: 

• Use Inventory management software (i.e., Asset Essentials and SAP) to log parts issued and update inventory balances. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Coordinate with Maintenance team to forecast upcoming parts needs and locate needed parts. 

 

What We Seek: 

• 3+ years of experience in parts, inventory, logistics, or maintenance environment. 

• Safety first attitude which is practiced with integrity. 

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills for storing and labeling parts. 

• Solid proficiency in using digital databases and inventory tracking software. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 

• Enthusiastic learner and continuous improvement mindset. 

• Computer skills as required to pull reports, update inventory, and adjust quantities in SAP and Asset Essentials.
