Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, observations, and response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
