Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a patient-focused pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and committed to providing excellent customer service while helping ensure the safe and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, preparation, filling, and dispensing.
- Enter prescription information and maintain accurate patient records.
- Manage medication inventory, including stocking, ordering, and monitoring expiration dates.
- Assist with prescription packaging, labeling, and quality checks.
- Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all applicable safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration or certification as required by state regulations.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
