Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Care Facility Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will work collaboratively to report concerns, assist visitors and employees, and promote a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate contacts when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a college degree or at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience.
• Meet vaccination requirements for hospital assignments.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
