This position is responsible for autonomously owning application components and delivering improvements end to end. Within Vantiva, this senior individual contributor independently owns defined application management workstreams, resolves non-routine problems and coordinates stakeholders, with influence centred on assigned projects or processes.

We are looking for an “SAP MM/SD IT Functional Lead” to play a key role in supporting business operations and accelerating the deployment and adoption of SAP S/4HANA capabilities across the EURASIA region.

The role will combine operational support with project and transformation activities, ensuring business continuity while identifying, designing and deploying new SAP S/4HANA functionalities for continuous improvement across MM and SD processes.

Following a successful 3 months onboarding, the position will operate on a hybrid working contract in Lisbon.

 

ROLE

In an environment with a high complexity and in a global and international context, the SAP MM/SD IT Functional Lead will support mainly EURASIA region. Our landscape is based on a worldwide SAP ERP core application integrated with other key systems (Kinaxis Rapid Response, AGILE PLM, CRM Salesforce) and connected as well to our partners’ IT landscape (Manufacturing, 3PLs, Freight Forwarders) via EDI connections.

Scope is worldwide - multiple sites in different countries will be supported.

 

 

SAP MM/SD IT Functional Lead

• The candidate should have a strong background in configuration and testing of SAP including integration with other systems.

• The candidate will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the

business communities.

• The candidate should be able to exchange with IT team members on the different topics around SAP system.

• The candidate should follow the maintenance and day-to-day activities.

• The candidate will have a strong ability to work in a multicultural environment and a good English command is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SAP MM/SD IT Functional Lead will:

·         Support EURASIA region for SAP MM/SD

·         Be the 1st point of contact for MM/SD topics and integration

·         Manage all the Vantiva technical customizing in MM/SD (requiring strong knowledge of our Vantiva processes)

·         Support technical and user tests and training

·         Integration/communication with other systems and solutions (EDI/Files interfaces)

·         Handle the functional and technical specifications

·         Manage the support on Batch Scheduler RMJ (Redwood) with all the interfaces with Kinaxis, Agile PLM and DWH

·         Organize and coordinate workshops with Business and IT teams.

·         Manage/update JIRA tickets for solution delivery and improvements.

·         Promote best practices and industry standards

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

·         Bachelor’s degree required.

·         At least 7 years of SAP experience, including SAP S/4HANA experience in a multicultural logistics project environment (MM/SD), with exposure to FI integration. The candidate must also be resourceful.

·         Excellent organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication

·         The candidate must have very good SAP expertise and include IT functional expertise and customizing in MM/SD.

·         Proven experience and knowledge of Supply Chain Business Processes

·         Client oriented, the candidate must have a cross functional view, strong communication skills and project tracking capability.

·         This role requires solid interpersonal communication skills.

·         The scope is worldwide, with multiple sites across different countries supported, while primarily covering EURASIA working hours.

·         Innovation oriented, the candidate must be organized, autonomous, collaborative and proactive with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
