Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Access Control in Laguna Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
