Job Description

In Bogotá – Colombia we are seeking a Lead Designer who will be pivotal in driving the creative direction of our brand across multiple platforms. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary creative team to produce high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand’s vision and strategic goals. The Lead Designer will provide mentorship, manage design projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand representation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the design team to develop outstanding visual concepts for brand campaigns, product launches, and diverse digital and print media channels.
• Ensure consistent visual identity across all creative outputs, adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining design excellence.
• Supervise design projects from initial concept to final execution, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Facilitate design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and creative output.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools to ensure the team’s creative outputs remain innovative and competitive.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and development teams to align design concepts with strategic project goals.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to foster skill development and encourage creative experimentation within the team.
• Engage in strategic planning, understanding marketing initiatives and target audience to deliver compelling design solutions.
• Present design concepts and strategic approaches to stakeholders, adapting communication style to various audiences.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes, storyboards, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a design role, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of designers.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating extensive experience in delivering high-impact design for both digital and print media.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color, and composition principles.
• Strong ability to conceptualize and implement innovative design solutions, with a keen eye on emerging trends.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Openness to feedback and collaboration, with a proactive approach to improving team dynamics and project outcomes.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and experience working across various media formats is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience working with Figma.
