Job Description/Responsibilities

As a Premium Gift Shop Associate, you'll serve as a brand ambassador, combining exceptional hospitality with retail expertise to bring our brands to life. This role offers the opportunity to engage with visitors, recommend products, drive sales, and contribute to the success of one of New Orleans' premier visitor destinations.

 

Schedule: Full-time working weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional guest service by creating welcoming, educational, and engaging experiences for visitors.
• Drive retail sales through product knowledge, personalized recommendations, and brand storytelling.
• Support inventory management, including stock replenishment, receiving, inventory counts, and product transfers.
• Maintain visually appealing merchandise displays and ensure products are readily available for guests.
• Assist with daily retail operations while supporting sales and guest experience goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hospitality, retail, or guest facing environment supervisor experience.
• Experience with inventory management, merchandising, cash handling and creating visual displays.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and other non-traditional business hours as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products or materials up to 50 pounds without assistance.

The hourly rate for this role is $20-$24 an hour.
