He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As an Asset Protection Engineer your mahi will provide region wide management for our water and wastewater network and transmission linear assets, including field-based inspections and audits.
You will provide timely interaction and approval for external parties undertaking work on or near the Watercare Network of linear assets, as well as parties wishing to access or connect to our network.
Day-to-day you can expect to:
- Respond to customer requests for works over
- Improve responsiveness to customer approvals
- Liaise and coordinate with developers and contractors
- Develop efficient and agile processes
- Working directly with developers and contractors
Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you
You will need to have experience in contract management and customer relationships. A background in water or wastewater operations is not essential.
You will also have experience with:
- Managing customer issues and conflicts
- Heightened safety culture awareness
- Collecting and accurately recording data
- Network and transmission operation of linear assets, beneficial but not mandatory.
An Engineering Tertiary qualification or relatable experience is required.
