Position: Grill Cook

Location: Worcester, MA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM (NO nights or weekends)

Hours: Full-Time

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly – Direct Deposit

NexDine is looking for an experienced, energetic, and dependable Grill Cook to join our team!

Grill Cook Responsibilities:

• Fire up the grill! Prepare fresh, made-to-order breakfast and lunch items, including eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, grilled sandwiches, and other hot menu favorites.
• Run your grill station! Set up, stock, organize, and maintain your cooking station for efficient breakfast and lunch service.
• Put your cooking skills to work! Use grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking techniques to prepare delicious, high-quality meals.
• Keep up with the action! Handle multiple food orders in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Mix things up! Assist with food prep, catering orders, hot food stations, and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Bring your personality! Interact with customers, prepare special orders, and create a friendly, welcoming dining experience.
• Keep it clean and safe! Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Be part of the team! Work closely with the Chef Manager and fellow cooks to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

Grill Cook Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Grill Cook preferred.
• Experience preparing made-to-order breakfast and lunch meals in a restaurant, café, cafeteria, or corporate dining environment.
• Knowledge of grill operations, cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining speed, accuracy, and food quality.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper cooking temperatures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for cooking!

Grill Cook Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 3 years' experience in similar position
• Previous customer service experience in food service
• Dependable
