Job Description

Customer and Product Training Coordinator/Administrator

Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days on site
Working Location: Bristol

Anticipated Start Date: 1st February 2027

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer and Product Training Coordinator to join our team in Bristol. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating the delivery of high-quality technical training to our customers, ensuring courses are effectively planned, resourced and administered. Working closely with instructors, Programme Managers and internal teams, you will coordinate the day-to-day training operation, ensuring courses are accurately scheduled, resourced, recorded, and delivered in accordance with Rolls-Royce requirements.

You will be a key point of contact for customers and an essential support function for the Customer & Product Training team.

Why Rolls-Royce?

Rolls-Royce is one of the most enduring and iconic brands in the world and has been at the forefront of innovation for over a century. We design, build and service systems that provide critical power to customers where safety and reliability are paramount.

We are proud to be a force for progress, powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.

We want to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that has shaped our history continues into our future, and we need people like you to come and join us on this journey.

Our Customer and Product Training team plays an important role in supporting customers through the delivery of technical training, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to operate and maintain our products safely and effectively.

We'll provide an environment of caring and belonging where you can be yourself. An inclusive, innovative culture that invests in you gives you access to an incredible breadth and depth of opportunities where you can grow your career and make a difference.

You will work in a collaborative, customer-focused environment, coordinating training activities and supporting colleagues across multiple business functions. This is an opportunity to develop your experience within a global engineering organisation while contributing to the delivery of essential customer training services.

What We Offer

We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits. These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts.

Your needs are as unique as you are. This role is based on site in Bristol, with a five-day working pattern to support the operational requirements of the Customer and Product Training team.

What You Will Be Doing

With this attractive opportunity, you will get a chance to:

  • Coordinate customer and product training schedules, instructor availability, facilities and resources to ensure training is delivered efficiently and meets customer and business requirements.
  • Manage course administration, including delegate enrolment, training materials, examinations, certification and accurate record-keeping, using Learning Management Systems such as Workday Learning and Leatro.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, working closely with instructors, Programme Managers, Commercial and Finance teams to coordinate training arrangements, travel, quotations, procurement and associated business processes.
  • Maintain accurate training and compliance records, coordinate mandatory and regulatory training requirements, support examinations, audits and Export Control activities and provide operational reporting while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Who We're Looking For

At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. These principles form the behaviours that guide us and are an essential component of our assessment process. They are the fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have at least two years' experience in customer service, training coordination, business administration or a similar operational support environment.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules and deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, customer-focused approach and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn and effectively use business systems, maintain accurate records and follow established processes.
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of responsibilities and proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and resolve issues.

Experience coordinating technical or customer training within an engineering, aerospace or regulated environment would be advantageous, as would familiarity with Learning Management Systems, SAP, Coupa, regulatory compliance or Export Control requirements.

We are an equal opportunities employer. We're committed to developing a diverse workforce and an inclusive working environment. We believe that people from different backgrounds and cultures give us different perspectives which are crucial to innovation and problem solving. We believe the more diverse perspectives we have, the more successful we'll be. By building a culture of caring and belonging, we give everyone who works here the opportunity to realise their full potential.

We welcome applications from people with a refugee background.

You can learn more about our global Inclusion strategy at Our people | Rolls-Royce.

To work in this role, you will be required to hold Security Check (SC) clearance. Rolls-Royce will support your application for Security Clearance if you do not currently have this in place.

As part of our selection process, candidates in certain locations may be asked to complete an online assessment, which can include cognitive and behavioural aptitude testing relevant to the role. If required, full instructions for the next steps will be provided.
