About The Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Role Purpose
The Security Education and Awareness Specialist will be responsible for security awareness and education efforts to enhance the Bank’s security culture. This will be achieved through the delivery of engaging and insightful physical and digital content delivered through various communications channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist to plan and implement security education and awareness initiatives that meet business objectives and educational needs.
- Draft content for EDMs, activities, collaterals, digital platforms, user guides, etc to raise knowledge and awareness of understanding UOB’s IT security policies, regulations and guidelines.
- Analyse data, identify trends and provide insights and recommendations after awareness campaigns or outreach efforts.
- Create and update education materials regarding UOB’s IT security policies, regulations and guidelines.
- Support awareness campaigns and events
- Provide support for Audit and Regulatory requests.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications/Business from a recognised education institution.
- Basic knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity.
Experience and Skills
- Some experience in creating and delivering Education and Awareness programs.
- Understanding human behaviours and motivations to design security education and awareness programs and incentivization schemes.
- Good knowledge and understanding of business and security requirements and needs, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain a high level of stakeholder trust and confidence.
- Process- and stakeholder-oriented with understanding of basic security concepts and technologies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills.• Expertise in setting and managing stakeholder expectations.
