JOB DESCRIPTION
Agency Lead, OM Solutions (Pod Lead)
Job Title: Agency Lead, OM Solutions (Pod Lead)
Territory: United States — assigned agency/account pod within OM Solutions US
Team Overview
OM Solutions is part of the Omnicom Media Commercial discipline - a client-centric team that builds and packages integrated media, data, technology & partnership solutions to solve client challenges driving differentiated growth. Rather than leading with a fixed product set, the team starts with client business & brand needs, bringing together the right capabilities across their full range of activity. We translate complex capabilities into clear, actionable client-facing narratives and opportunities.
Partnering closely with agency business & investment leadership teams - from upstream strategy and differentiated “Only OM” opportunities through contract negotiation and opt-ins - OM Solutions provides the connective tissue between clients, agencies, products & the broader network. The team helps carry shared commercial goals, keeps teams connected to central partnership and product activity, and brings practical support to the moments where opportunity, complexity and pressure come together.
Position Summary
The Agency Lead is the commercial front line of OM Solutions and the leader of an assigned coverage pod across OM agencies & clients. This role builds the trusted relationships through which client business challenges surface - then identifies, qualifies, and prioritizes the opportunities that convert those challenges into long-term OM solutions deployment where there is a demonstrable fit. Operating a client-centric philosophy - solutions built around the client, not the products - the Agency Lead owns the pod's pipeline end to end and quarterbacks each prioritized opportunity through OM Solutions' paired deal model, partnering with OM Solutions Strategy & the relevant OM products from brief through pitch through adoption.
This is a revenue accountable leadership seat: the Agency Lead carries the pod's commercial results and represents OM Solutions in the most senior agency and client rooms within their coverage. This role reports into the President, OM Solutions, US.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the pod's qualified pipeline. Identify, size, and qualify opportunities from agency and client conversations, passing each through the qualification gate and maintaining a complete, current pipeline in Salesforce, priced and prioritized.
- Convert pipeline to commercial opportunity. Drive prioritized opportunities to close through the paired deal model, owning the win rate and the pod's contribution to OM's revenue and product-adoption goals.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships. Establish durable standing with agency Business and Investment Leadership so opportunities become increasingly agency-initiated — the agency calls the pod, rather than the reverse.
- Quarterback the client narrative. Bring OM Solutions Strategy partners into live conversations early, co-create the solution and business case, and deliver or co-present the final client-facing narrative with full command of its intent.
- Feed cross-agency prioritization. Contribute the pod's sized, scored opportunities into the cross-agency prioritization forum, and flex coverage as company and product priorities shift.
Roles & Responsibilities
Agency Relationships & Opportunity Identification
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the pod's clients and the agency Client Success / Investment leadership landscape
- Meet continuously with agency teams to understand client business challenges, category pressures, and priorities, synthesizing them into actionable, qualified opportunities
- Advise agency Investment and Client Success teams on where OM's products and partnerships can deliver client value — with candor about where they cannot
Sizing, Qualification & Pipeline Discipline
- Evaluate opportunities per the organization's consistent methodology and qualify rigorously, disqualifying with equal discipline to keep the pipeline real
- Maintain complete, current opportunity records in Salesforce as the single source of truth for cross-agency prioritization
- Participate actively in weekly pipeline signals, biweekly reviews, and the monthly prioritization forum
Solution Delivery (Paired Deal Model)
- Author rich deal briefs that capture the client's challenge in the client's own words, and honor the framing-check and dry-run checkpoints before anything goes external
- Co-present with OM Solutions Strategy on flagship and high-value opportunities; support new business pitches with a differentiated product story
Adoption & Pod Leadership
- Drive measurable adoption of OM's investment solutions within the pod's covered accounts, supporting account growth and retention
- Lead and develop pod team members; model AI-enabled ways of working and disciplined pipeline hygiene
Goals & KPIs
Performance is measured against the Agency Engagement & Cross-Agency Connectivity scorecard:
- Qualified pipeline generated — value and volume of opportunities identified, sized, and passed through the qualification gate. Tracked weekly in Salesforce; scored quarterly.
- Win rate on prioritized opportunities — percentage of paired-model deals that close, including product opt-in. Reviewed on a rolling four-quarter basis.
- Revenue lift — closed revenue influenced and product-adoption rate within covered accounts, contributing to the team goal.
- Trusted-advisor standing — agency perceived-value pulse and the share of new opportunities that are agency-initiated; measured on standing with agency executive leadership. Pulsed semi-annually.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience across media, advertising, and marketing channels, with a background in consultative sales or agency leadership; seeking expertise or familiarity in principal media, programmatic, content sponsorship, and sports media
- Looking for resourceful “M shaped” candidates with a client first mentality and executive presence
- Adaptability and progressive mindset about the use of AI to free bandwidth for relationship impact
- Proven ability to solve diverse client challenges (business, marketing and media) with capability alignment through strategic narrative development and consultative selling
- Thrives operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience collaborating across complex, matrixed organizations spanning multiple seniority levels and working styles
Range $220-270K
