Director of Dietary

We are looking for a Director of Dietary at Howard Memorial Hospital. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Responsibilities:

· Directs and manages the daily operations of the Dietary Department.

· Develops the capital and operating budgets for Dietary Department.

· Plans and directs the activities of purchasing food supplies, storage and inventory of supplies and budgeted costs per meal.

· Coordinates departmental activities to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.

Secondary Functions: All other duties required for ordering, purchasing food from licensed vendors, and following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

· High School graduate or GED

· Certified Dietary Manager required

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred.

· A minimum of 2 years’ management experience preferred.
