A Typical Day in the Life:
As a staff accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ financial needs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Complete simple transactions with oversight, performing self-review to ensure accuracy and completeness of work. Transactions include but are not limited to:
- Processing monthly accounts and preparing bank reconciliations
- State sales and use tax
- Annual 1099’s and 1096’s
- Year-end W2 adjustments
- Client depreciation schedules
- Analyze client financial records and prepare annual financial statements and source documents. May prepare client individual organizers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- May begin to build client relationships.
- Handle all administrative tasks, as assigned.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Responsible for achieving annual billable hour goals while maintaining high standards of client service and contributing to the firm's revenue, profitability, operational excellence, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in an accounting-related field; or equivalent experience and/or training.
- basic knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Proven ability to exercise discretion, analytical thinking, and independent judgement.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
