Job Description:

• Accurately performs cashier duties, payroll deduction transactions, and cash drawer reconciliation.
• Orders, receives, and maintains inventory, including processing and tagging new merchandise.
• Facilitates system upgrades to support operational efficiency.
• Merchandises products and maintains a safe, orderly, and customer-friendly environment.
• Assists customers with purchases and inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Prepares, coordinates, and advertises sales to promote store activity.
• Trains Volunteers in daily operations and customer service.
• Prepares bi-weekly payroll deduction for submission to Payroll.
• Reconciles monthly credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy.
• Provides monthly purchase activity reports to the Foundation Director.
• Actively markets and promotes the gift shop to increase annual sales and net profit.
• Maintains compliance with safety standards and store organization protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Comply with departmental policies and procedures. [Required]
• Other duties as may be assigned. [Required]
• Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills. [Preferred]
• Basic computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs [Preferred]

 

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]

 

Work Experience:

• 3+ retail sales and management [Required]

 

Licenses and Certifications:

• Driver's License (DL) [Required]

Pay Range:

$41,516.80 - $77,188.80
