About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Find and bid on relevant Upwork projects that fit our services and strengths
• Write tailored, persuasive proposals for every job, with no copy-paste pitches
• Manage client conversations from first reply through scoping, negotiation, and closing
• Work with the tech, design, and marketing teams to prepare accurate estimates and timelines
• Keep our Upwork profile, portfolio, and case studies sharp and up to date
• Track bids, replies, conversions, and revenue, and share regular performance reports
• Use Connects wisely and keep up with Upwork’s algorithm and best practices
• Negotiate scope, pricing, and timelines within company guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience bidding on Upwork for an IT services company or agency
• A record of winning projects and building repeat client relationships
• Excellent written English and strong proposal-writing skills
• Good understanding of Upwork’s bidding process, Connects, and job-matching
• Basic knowledge of web/app development, design, and digital marketing to scope projects realistically
• Confidence in negotiation and client communication
• Familiarity with a CRM or lead-tracking tool (LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus)

Good to Have

• Experience on other platforms such as Fiverr, Freelancer, or PeoplePerHour
• Experience working with international clients across time zones
• Basic project estimation and technical scoping skills
