Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Monitor in Seneca, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
