Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Building Access in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will assist employees and guests, monitor entry activity, respond to concerns, and help maintain a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and applicable security-related systems from the assigned post, reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain awareness of the financial institution location, assist with access control and confidentiality practices, and help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
