Job Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Supply Chain Planning: Own end-to-end supply chain planning for Joybuy’s European 1P retail business, covering demand forecasting, supply planning, procurement planning, inventory management, and replenishment strategies to support business growth and ensure stable product availability.
  • Demand Forecasting and Procurement Planning: Develop procurement quantities, ordering schedules, and replenishment plans based on sales forecasts, historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans. Work closely with Category Management and Procurement teams to translate business requirements into actionable supply plans.
  • Inventory Planning and Performance Optimization: Oversee inventory allocation and replenishment across multiple fulfilment centres in Europe, balancing product availability, inventory turnover, stockout risks, and working capital requirements. Continuously improve inventory efficiency and capital utilization.
  • Purchase Order and Supplier Delivery Management: Monitor purchase order execution, supplier deliveries, and inbound receiving progress. Coordinate the resolution of delivery delays, quantity discrepancies, and supply disruptions to ensure effective execution of procurement plans and timely product availability.
  • Supplier Settlement and Reconciliation Management: Manage or oversee supplier settlement processes, including reconciliation of purchase orders, goods receipt records, and supplier invoices. Track payment discrepancies, exceptions, and settlement progress, working closely with Finance, Category Management and Procurement, and other relevant teams to improve settlement processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Supply Chain Operations: Work closely with Category Management and Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Country Operations, and Finance teams to streamline key processes across procurement, inbound receiving, inventory management, and supplier settlement, improving end-to-end supply chain coordination and operational efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Process Development and Continuous Improvement: Establish and continuously improve supply chain planning and operational processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including forecast accuracy, product availability, inventory turnover, supplier delivery performance, and settlement accuracy. Use data analysis to identify issues, drive process improvements, and optimize costs.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: At least 8 years of experience in supply chain planning, supply planning, inventory management, demand planning, or related areas. Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods is preferred.
  • End-to-End Supply Chain Expertise: Solid understanding of supply chain operations in a 1P retail business, with end-to-end experience spanning demand forecasting, procurement planning, inventory management, and supplier delivery management.
  • Inventory and Procurement Management: Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, replenishment strategies, inventory optimization, and purchase order management. Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouses or countries is preferred.
  • Supplier Settlement Experience: Experience in supplier reconciliation, invoice verification, settlement process management, and exception handling, with the ability to collaborate with Finance and business teams to resolve settlement issues.
  • Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify supply chain bottlenecks through business data analysis and develop and implement improvement plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Execution: Strong communication, stakeholder management, coordination, and project execution skills, with the ability to drive initiatives to completion in complex, cross-functional, and cross-country environments.
  • Language and Cross-Cultural Competence: English is the primary working language. Strong cross-cultural awareness and adaptability, with the ability to navigate differences between Chinese and Western business cultures, adapt working styles to different cultural contexts, and effectively bridge East and West to drive alignment and collaboration across international teams.
