Maintenance Mechanic | Ohio
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing plant. This is a technical role for someone who knows how to troubleshoot and repair machinery, beyond performing basic maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, determine root causes, and perform necessary repairs.
- Replace wear parts on machinery, such as shear blades.
- Install and level new machinery, including cranes.
- Maintain forklifts and company vehicles.
- Service and repair shop air compressors.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Mechanics or 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Must have your own tools (demonstrating expertise beyond basic oil changes).
- English proficiency (required for a manufacturing environment).
- Stable work history: 2 to 3 years with the same employer.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (~40 hours per week)
Housing and Travel
- Travel & Transportation: You will arrive at Columbus Airport (CMH), Ohio, where the client will pick you up.
- Housing: Provided by the client for $1,100 per month plus utilities (payroll deducted).
