We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join our high-performing Executive Support Team, providing proactive support to multiple Board Directors within a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.

This is far more than diary management. As a trusted partner to senior leaders, you'll play a pivotal role in helping Directors maximise their effectiveness, manage competing priorities, and focus on delivering strategic outcomes. You'll be part of a professional team of experienced Executive Support professionals who operate with discretion, confidence and professionalism at the highest levels of the business.

Reporting to the Director of Risk & Compliance, you'll work closely with Board Directors, senior stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation, ensuring seamless coordination of leadership, governance and business activities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll provide comprehensive executive support to two or more Board Directors, ensuring their time, priorities and commitments are effectively managed.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Proactively managing complex and ever-changing diaries, schedules and priorities.
  • Acting as a key point of contact on behalf of Directors, managing communications with professionalism and sound judgement.
  • Coordinating Board, governance and senior leadership meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking and action tracking.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organising domestic and international travel, leadership events, conferences and team activities.
  • Anticipating business needs, identifying issues before they arise and finding practical solutions.
  • Driving improvements in administrative processes and ways of working.
  • Handling highly confidential business, people and customer information with integrity and discretion.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant who thrives in a complex environment and enjoys working at pace.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience supporting senior executives, Board Directors or leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Outstanding organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with absolute discretion.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Experience supporting Board Directors or Executive Committee members.
  • Knowledge of governance and Board administration processes.
  • Experience within financial services, banking, consumer finance, vehicle finance or another regulated industry.
  • An understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to become a trusted partner to senior leaders and play a key role in supporting decision-making at the highest level of the organisation.

You'll join a collaborative, professional and highly respected Executive Support function where your expertise, judgement and organisational excellence will make a genuine impact every day.

If you're an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys working with senior stakeholders, navigating complexity and enabling leadership success, we'd love to hear from you
