Our client is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to develop and maintain a Security Review Risk Framework analytics engine, focusing on Python-based analytical models, statistical analyses, and automation workflows to support security and risk management objectives.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Develop and maintain the Security Review Risk Framework analytics engine, ensuring reliability and performance in production environments
- Build Python-based analytical models, statistical analyses, and automation workflows that translate business and security requirements into technical solutions
- Create production-ready code with appropriate testing, validation, quality controls, and technical documentation
- Partner with security and risk stakeholders to define key metrics, reporting structures, and actionable risk insights
- Conduct statistical analysis and risk assessment to identify trends, anomalies, and security patterns within analytical datasets
- Produce clear technical documentation, analysis specifications, and architecture summaries for cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions that meet both technical and business objectives
Requirements
- 8-10 years of professional experience in data analytics, engineering, or related analytical roles
- Expert proficiency in Python for building scalable analytical applications and automation workflows
- Strong statistical analysis and quantitative modeling skills with demonstrated ability to translate data into insights
- Experience with risk assessment frameworks, methodologies, or tools in a financial or security context
- Ability to write production-grade code with comprehensive testing, validation, and quality assurance practices
- Proficiency in technical documentation and communicating complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience partnering with security, risk, or compliance teams on analytical initiatives and metric definition
