Wind Turbine Technician – Western Macedonia, Greece
Overview
Ogenus Offshore is supporting a renewable energy service company in the recruitment of Wind Turbine Technicians to join their operations and maintenance team based in Western Macedonia, Greece.
These roles are focused on the maintenance and servicing of wind turbines, supporting long-term operations across wind farm assets in the region.
This is a locally based position, offering stability and continuity, as opposed to rotational or project-based assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on wind turbines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
- Support repair and replacement activities
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation
- Participate in on-call / standby rotations as required
- Work as part of a local team responsible for specific wind farm assets
Required Experience
- Previous experience as a Wind Turbine Technician
- Experience with Siemens Gamesa turbines (G87 preferred) or similar platforms
- Experience with Vestas models (e.g. V80, V90) is also relevant
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical maintenance background
- Comfortable working in field-based environments
