Trainee Accounts Assistant – Beverley
Salary: Up to £28,000
Castle Employment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing business based in Beverley who are looking to recruit a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is keen to gain practical experience and develop within a supportive and progressive environment.
The Role:
As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function with a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks, offering great exposure across multiple areas.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Supporting credit control activities
- Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About You:
- A genuine interest in building a career in accountancy or finance
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- A positive, proactive approach to learning
- Strong communication skills
- Currently studying AAT or looking to start (desirable)
