VACANCY • FINANCE MANAGER • EDENVALE
JOB PURPOSE We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic motor dealership group. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role is responsible for the full accounting function of a dealership entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial management to support business performance.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports to the CFO and Dealer Principals
• Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate daily bank reconciliations and cashbook management
• Oversee debtor accounts and drive collections within agreed credit terms
• Maintain accurate vehicle and deal cost records, identifying anomalies
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Minimum 5–7 years’ relevant experience in the motor industry, including dealership level experience, with at
least three years managing a finance team • Excellent Computer Literacy (MS Office; Internet, email with advance Excel and financial analysis capability). • Experience with dealership systems (e.g. Evolve, Kerridge, Automate, Pinnacle) beneficial • It is expected that the candidate has a clear record based on the various verification checks that will be
conducted. • The role is open to all suitable South African candidates who meet the recruitment criteria. • Must be proficient in both English and a local South African language. • Have a valid Driver’s Licence • Although all suitable applications will be considered, it is preferred that the individual is based in the East
Rand or close to the dealership. • High attention to detail and accuracy • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Effective communication and reporting skills • High level of integrity and professionalism
REMUNERATION NOTES
A very competitive, market related remuneration package is offered for the role, which will be discussed with short- listed candidates.
