Key Responsibilities:
- Register guests and handle reservations efficiently during the overnight shift
- Prepare and review daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Balance transactions and perform end-of-shift accounting procedures
- Conduct security walks to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property
- Manage front desk operations independently with minimal supervision
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Assist with administrative tasks related to night audit processes
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality field
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus
- Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during overnight hours
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
- Basic knowledge of hotel management software and computer systems- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to handle routine issues
- Strong oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.
