Job Description:

Accounting Administrator

Summary

The position of Accountant will be responsible for the accounting management in the project. This Position will assist the Chief Financial Officer in managing the information related to the project such as budgets, relationship with suppliers and subcontractors, or customers. The role will exhibit flexibility with schedule due to accounting reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Proper accounting of the transactions with monthly closing of Financial Statements, both general and analytical.
  • Monthly reporting to CFO.
  • Maintenance of Budget and analysis of deviations.
  • Suppliers and Subcontracting control (contracts, invoices, payments, accruals, legal documentation to keep).
  • Clients control (contract, change orders, pay estimate, collections, retentions, bonds).
  • Maintain and provide weekly HQ information regarding payroll.
  • Office administration management assistance and documentation.  

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar accounting and business administration positions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exposure to accounting software(s).
