RESPONSIBILITIES:
The cGMP Compliance Handler is typically scheduled on eight hour shifts five days a week. cGMP Compliance Handler must have the flexibility to work on other shifts or overtime when needed. The cGMP Handler must be able to perform job duties with minimal direct supervision and is required to follow an established performance protocol in meeting customary work goals. The position requires a self-started, who can multi-task and adjust to a variety of assignments. The cGMP Compliance Handler must consistently demonstrate effective teamwork behavior. The cGMP Handler will be required to work in several areas of the plant. The cGMP Compliance Handler must have the ability to perform under conditions of continuous physical activity in the execution of their job and lift to 50lbs. As with all employees the cGMP Compliance Handler implements and supports the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) management system and the company’s EH&S and Quality Policy.
cGMP Facility Compliance Handler will be accountable to the following job duties:
cGMP Compliance Handler will sweep debris, wash down walkways, stack pallets, roll up hoses and perform work in non-accessible areas of the plant in compliance with cGMP policies and procedures.
Operates forklifts to empty trash dumpsters, and picks up empty drums
California Clean
Cleaning of storm drains and dikes
Labeling of DOT drums
Loading of Hazardous Material
Pothole Patching
Install/ hang signs
Rain Gutter Repair and cleaning
Window screen repair
Replace missing/ broken ceiling tile and
Painting of safety walkway lines
Drywall and floor repair (not asphalt repair)
Hanging new strip curtains or replacing old strip curtain
Repair eye wash stations
Door handle/door closer repair and replacement
Basic painting touch-up (no special equipment needed)
Painting (light painting no special equipment needed)
Hazardous Waste Spill clean (special training will be provided for this task and will be done under Environmental Engineer Supervision)
Effectively communicate safety and procedural issues with coworkers and supervisors.
Follows Company, state, and federal guidelines concerning safety and environmental protection. Proper use of Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) conforming to cGMP standards is required.
The employee must be capable of operating forklifts, trucks, scissor-lifts, lifting equipment and various hand tools. Position requires certification Ariel Lift and Fall Protection.
