General Responsibilities
- Complete bookkeeping and billing activities to support Aging and Disability Services Programs, including, but not limited to, Money Management, Community Care Program, Choices for Care, and other Illinois Department on Aging Programs.
- Entry of data into systems as required by funders including, but not limited to, AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois.
- Follow guidelines and standards as outlined by Illinois Department on Aging, AgeGuide, and other regulatory bodies.
- Enter data into required databases and maintain data quality.
- Prepare file records for incoming clients and organize paperwork.
- Provide operational support services to the programs.
- Complete monthly reporting of data to funding sources.
- Provide clerical support to the Money Management Program.
- Prepare files for quality reviews and submission to the Department on Aging.
- Complete Performance and Quality Improvement activities and reporting.
- Serve as a backup for the agency receptionist when needed.
- Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from a regionally accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in office support, bookkeeping, and data entry.
- Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently with great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passage of complete background clearance.
- Understanding and appreciation of the Agency's Mission, Goals, Values, and Philosophy.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.
- Adhere to the Agency’s Code of Ethics and conduct all responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
