As a Digital Workplace Engineer IV, you'll serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise AI and productivity solutions. Leveraging deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse, you'll build secure, scalable solutions that enhance associate productivity and drive business value.
You will lead the design and implementation of enterprise architecture, governance, application lifecycle management (ALM), and integration patterns that enable teams to safely and effectively leverage AI and automation at scale. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Security, and business stakeholders to define architecture, establish governance standards, drive innovation, and mentor engineers across the organization.
This is a highly visible individual contributor role requiring both hands-on technical expertise and the ability to influence enterprise technology decisions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse.
- Lead architecture and technical design for AI-enabled productivity, automation, and business solutions.
- Define and implement ALM practices, environment strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and governance standards.
- Develop integrations leveraging Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and enterprise APIs.
- Develop custom connectors and integrations with third-party and REST-based services.
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and related Microsoft technologies.
- Drive automation and operational efficiency through PowerShell, Python, and workflow orchestration.
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, governance frameworks, and operational controls for AI and Power Platform solutions.
- Partner with engineers, architects, product managers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineers while promoting engineering rigor and technical excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations that improve the digital workplace experience.
- Support the full solution lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring, optimization, and support.
- Ensure AI solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with responsible AI principles.
- Optimize platform adoption, usage, and operational costs while maximizing business value.

You are a technically strong engineer with deep expertise across Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and enterprise AI technologies and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions. You combine architectural thinking, hands-on development experience, governance expertise, and strong communication skills to solve complex business challenges.
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise technology solutions in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade solution architecture, including ALM practices, environment strategy, solution packaging, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, including DLP policies, environment management, security controls, and platform administration.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot technologies, and AI solution development.
- Experience building and deploying enterprise AI agents and intelligent automation solutions.
- Experience integrating solutions through Microsoft Graph, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft 365 services, and APIs.
- Experience developing custom connectors and integrating third-party REST APIs.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise architectures.
- Strong understanding of AI governance, security, compliance, and risk management practices.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable technical solutions.
- Working knowledge of Power Fx, JavaScript, or similar technologies used for custom logic and extensibility.
- Working knowledge of Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting and automation technologies.
- Experience leading large-scale technology initiatives and influencing technical direction across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and fostering technical growth within teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise AI transformation and adoption initiatives.
- Knowledge of Copilot consumption models, AI cost optimization, capacity planning, and platform governance.
- Experience implementing responsible AI, security, and governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting enterprise digital workplace and productivity technologies.
- Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, embeddings, and modern AI application patterns.
- Microsoft certifications related to AI, Azure, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $159,354-$254,966
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
