The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical, independent, and driven Senior Business Analyst to act as a strategic partner across a diverse portfolio of Order-to-Cash (OTC) initiatives over a 1-year contract. In this highly visible role, you will support the Business Process & Special Projects team by managing various high-impact projects as it relates to OTC, including large-scale system conversions, M&A integrations, workflow automations, and department top-to-bottom studies.
You will execute comprehensive end-to-end process reviews across the department: identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for automation, conducting gap analysis between systems and teams, gathering technical requirements, exploring and proposing solutions with concrete ROI, and driving the implementation of these enhancements from discovery through testing and training.
Key Responsibilities
Independently lead current-state and future-state discovery for various OTC special projects, adapting quickly to new initiatives such as system migrations, acquisitions, or compliance audits.
Elicit, document, and submit comprehensive business and technical requirements for system enhancements, and process changes and automation.
Utilize advanced process mapping techniques to document workflows and data flows across OTC areas.
Develop, standardize, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical training materials, and M&A integration intake forms/playbooks.
Identify structural bottlenecks, manual redundancies, and operational inefficiencies, proposing scalable solutions to remove red tape.
Develop and present optimization proposals to leadership, supported by root-cause analysis, resourcing impacts, and clear ROI data.
Actively drive the rollout of approved initiatives, collaborating closely with IT, Customer Service, AR Managers, and project management offices.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for process or system changes, identifying testing gaps and tracking defect resolutions.
Perform other strategic duties as assigned to support evolving departmental priorities.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Process Improvement Specialist, or similar strategic role with a proven track record of driving cross-functional projects.
Exceptional analytical skills; proven ability to independently identify root-cause issues, gather technical requirements, and build compelling business cases.
Highly self-directed with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, drive project methodologies forward autonomously, and confidently navigate ambiguity.
Expert ability to write comprehensive SOPs, create robust training materials, and present complex ideas clearly to leadership and operational teams.
Advanced expertise with Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint prGoogle Slides, and process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
University degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Bonus Points: Deep domain expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC), Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or Treasury processes. Hands-on experience with major ERP system conversions, M&A integrations, AI implementations, or organizational compliance initiatives.
